An essential aspect of your dental implant treatment is the initial consultation appointment, at which you will undergo a thorough oral examination. We typically don’t place dental implants at your first visit because we want to take that time to get to know you and your condition. Performing a thorough examination helps us determine whether or not you are a good candidate for dental implants. When you visit our office, we will take any X-rays or 3D scans necessary to get the most accurate images of your mouth and jaws. These images will show us every angle we need to form a comprehensive treatment plan in which we can map out every last detail of your procedure.
After we have gotten the images we need, we will discuss all of your treatment options with you. We want to make sure you are completely informed and understand all of your choices before we proceed with treatment. We will answer any questions you may have, and we will also go over your choices for sedation. Our main priority is ensuring you are comfortable, and we always do everything we can to make sure your treatment is as seamless as possible. At your oral examination, we will also provide you with detailed instructions for your pre- and post-operative care.
